Can not enable Flash player in Crome

Reported by sherrym0...@gmail.com, Jun 15 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version : 59.0.3071.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)
URLs (if applicable) :https://apps.facebook.com/klondikegame/?fb_source=bookmark&ref=bookmarks&count=0&fb_bmpos=_0

(1)The Game Klondike says on the left side of the address bar that Adobe Flash player is blocked and even though I tell it to unblock it it does not. I have set it to allow flash player in the contents menu also and it still will not enable flash player.
(2)Also, every time I try to download the game room in Face Book it flashes a message about flash player and then says Sorry, something went wrong
Please try closing and re-opening your browser window.
Return home. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome, and flashplayer and cleaning and removing history and caches. I have Norton and have done a full system scan and there was nothing detected. Im so totally frustrated.

Unable to reproduce this issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome latest stable #59.0.3071.86 by following steps mentioned in the original comment. Observed no block in flash content and able to play the game in Facebook with no issues.

Reporter@ Are you able to reproduce this issue consistently including incognito mode? On which OS platform are you facing this issue? Could you please recheck this issue by navigating to chrome://components and update the adobe flash version.

Thanks!

Issue is consistent. Now, on flash page in content there is a block on Feedback and Chrome Web Store Payments and it will not let me remove them from the block list. I am also still unable to download the game room in face book. The block on the feedback and store were added after I updated the adobe flash.
Thanks for and help. have attached two screenshots of my content settings...

Canary; Latest (made sure to update today)
Windows 10

I hadn't noticed until yestereday, there's an icon on the right of the address bar that shows blocked plugins.

Flash block always blocks with the first dialog... I can click the 'run all plugins this time' and it usually works.

I have flash enabled, I have sites whitelisted.

This is the same problem I have. There is another problem that started the same time this one did and I wonder if they are linked. I will be clicking on an item on a page and it will kick me right out of the page I was on to the last page I was in with no history of being on the page it booted me out of. I am not a programmer and I do not know a whole lot about fixing things like this so I am very frustrated with Chrome right now.

Now standard chrome exibits the same behavior.
And this bug is still as 'uncomfirmed'?

Hmmmmm

http://www.syfy.com/videos/krypton-teaser-trailer works fine...

it's only one /episodes or /live that it shows up... things that have a login...
ALthough, ... (checked some other things) I thought I saw it pop up on another.

maybe it's just the one site; and then not all their content has issues.
checked history, comedy central and cartoon network they all work just fine.

I'll go back to pursing the issue with syfy.

Worked with Syfy for a while...

These steps allow me to view them now...

On a PC, select the Customize and Control Google Chrome button at the top right corner of the browser, then select Settings.
On a Mac, select the Chrome > Preferences from the menu bar at top left.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Show Advanced Setting link.
Select the Content Settings button under Privacy.
Scroll down to Unsandboxed plug-in access and select Allow all sites to use a plug-in to access your computer.
Select Done.
Restart your browser. This will close all open browser windows.
Navigate to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager08.html

But, on syfy.com/live the flash plugin blocked still pops up and I have to click run all plugins on this page link.
On the info on the left side of the address bar, it shows flash as enabled on that site (and [*.]syfy.com) is in whitelist for flash plugin.

But; it seems to be specific to their site and them on that one page. videos on their /episodes are now playing without flash block popup.
