Chrome browser closed immediately after sharing my "Chrome Tab"

Reported by ashok.ko...@mroads.com, Jun 12 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. When a user requests for screen-share , and when he selects/clicks chrometab option and further clicks on Share button, the chrome browser crashes.
2. We have built an application called panna live which is similar to google hangouts.
3. When the share event is invoked, a window appears with three options - (your entire screen, application window, chrome tab)
4. I chooses "Chrome Tab"

What is the expected behavior?
It should share the entire screen without closing the browser.

What went wrong?
After choosing the "chrome tab" option the browser closes itself without any warning or notice.

Could you please visit chrome://crashes and share the crash ID (the shorter one) from a time this happened?
Please find the below crash ID

Thanks — I actually need the shorter ID with no dashes, which may be labeled "Uploaded Crash Report ID" or "Server ID".
Previously I didn't find server ID when I am reporting the crashID. I found an upload button and I uploaded that. Then I got the serverID. Please find the below one which you wanted.

That was not an "upload" button, that was "Send now" button.

Thanks! That worked.

qiangchen@: It looks like you worked on this code recently. Would you mind taking a look or reassigning?

I can't reproduce the issue.

Is the crash before or after clicking "Share" button?
After clicking on share button
Can you share us your javascript? Or give us a way to install your extension?

Our new hangouts is now also using tab sharing, but it does not have such an issue. So I am not sure whether the problem may be on the js part.
Now I am unable to provide you the JavaScript but please install this extension to re-produce the issue.

Just tested, but I cannot reproduce the issue. The tab is shared well. And the candidate can see the tab being shared.

Can you consistently reproduce the issue, or just sometimes?
