Impossible to put accents on vowel

Displays as `` '' ~~ and "" 3. Can't put a letter afterwards, as the accents are displayed by two What is the expected behavior? For example, with 'a', it should be à á ã ä What went wrong? Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 7 , Mac 10.12.5 & Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome latest Canary-61.0.3127.0 & stable-59.0.3071.86 as per the below steps: 1. Open chrome 2. Type accents like ( ~ ` " ) & observed only single accents 3. Now type any vowel letters & observed accents are not displayed twice Please find the attached screencast for reference. Additional info: ---------------- Tried below accents also using numeric keyboard à ALT + 133 À ALT + 0192 ä ALT + 132 Ä ALT + 142 Could you please provide us any additional steps, screen shot or video to triage the issue further. Well I can't add more information to the ones I've already provided, when I press the accents keys, it displays those accents in pair, with no possibility to add a vowel to make a 'é' for example...
