This seems like an issue with the layout:
http://imgur.com/a/2ndic
Looks like the text field is first laid out based on its initial leading anchor. For fields with already text in it, it means clipping by the size of the "X" button.
For fields with no prior text in it, it means a really narrow (less than a character) field, which prevents to see any character typed.
I think when toggling editing, the text field should be laid out to the full extend it can, while keeping the text inside trailing aligned.
Moe or Raymond, can one of you handle that in AutofillEditCell?
Verified the issue is fixed now and While editing Autofill fields in Settings, Text entered is currently visible.
