What's the impact of this bug?  It's pretty late to merge this kind of change, so I'd prefer to wait until M61.  If you feel strongly it should be merged you can add the Merge-Request-60 label and we'll re-review.

bustamanto@, I'm not sure you've read my message above based on your reply. This is not a bug fix but metrics. This is simply recording a histogram in four different places. Nothing fancy. Sure, we can wait the next release, but this change is as safe as it gets.
