Unable to reproduce the issue on latest Chrome stable i.e., 59.0.3071.86 on Windows 7,10, Mac and Linux.
Just FYI, it's not only since v59, I have the same issue for a few weeks now. Because it's such an obvious error and it wasn't reported yet I thought it's only on my machine, but I tried reinstalling, disabling/uninstalling plugins, incognito mode and so on, but to no avail. Any suggestions what I could try next? I also don't get any crash dumps when this happens, so I can't give you an error report at this time.

I've installed google-chrome from the AUR now: Version 59.0.3071.86 (Official Build) (64-bit). Works. I'll stay with Chrome for now then.
