Issue descriptionChrome Version (from the about:version page):59.0.3071.86 Is this the most recent version:yes OS + version:Ubuntu Linux 16.04.2 XENIAL CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64 Window manager: compiz/unity URLs (if relevant): n/a Behavior in Linux Firefox: n/a Behavior in Windows Chrome (if you have access to it): unknown What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) open settings:extended:manage passwords (2) click on details (3) click on the eye-symbol What is the expected result? see the password What happens instead? nothing but the click-animation Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report. Additional remark: I have not tried the "delete" option, I hope it has a confirmation-dialog before it happens. I think it is a dangerous UX decision/GUI design to place "details" and "delete" into that drop-down menu .. bound to give people some grief.

It works now. Possibly the bug is related to the seldom occuring problem with reading the profile - but in those cases it appears that absolutely no passwords had been saved; killing all instances and restarting provides access to the profile again.
