[MD Settings] Selected option doesn't get disabled under Main menu section.

Issue description

Chrome Version: 61.0.3123.0 (Official Build) 193094009c210267cfa2c194ec9875711ccaf647-refs/heads/master@{#477506} 32/64-bit.
OS: Windows (7,8,10), Mac (10.11.6, 10.12.3), Linux (14.04 LTS).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch chrome and go to chrome://md-settings page.
2. Click to open 'Main menu' list and select 'Search engine' option.
3. Again go to Main menu list, hover the mouse pointer on 'Search engine' option and observe.

Search engine option doesn't get disabled.
Search engine option should get disabled.

This is a non-regression issue, seen form M-52 series.

I don't think disabling the menu option adds any value. At least the way it works now clicking on the already navigated menu item closes the sidebar. 

@tbuckley: Any thoughts?

The current behavior makes sense to me. Closing as WAI.
