Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Upgrade via auto-update from 58. 2. Launch the new version, and goto chrome://gpu 3. GPU is not detected with the following log message. What is the expected behavior? I'm using nVidia Duadro K1200 on a Dell workstation. Driver version is 375.51. With Chrome 58 and early versions, GPU acceleration works fine. Not all GPU features were available, but at least the basic acceleration, such as 2D canvas, WebGL, etc were properly working. What went wrong? With the new version, GPU is not even detected. The web pages become flickering when scrolling. Here is the log message: [15214:15214:0605/133841.450024:ERROR:gl_context_glx.cc(186)] : Failed to create GL context with glXCreateContextAttribsARB. Yes 58 Chrome version: 59.0.3071.86 (Official Build) (64-bit) Channel: stable OS Version: 14.04 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0

After I rebooted the PC, hardware acceleration works again. It's not a bug in Chrome. Sorry to the false positive report. Please close the bug.
