Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. From my test case, open the test.html file inside a web server, not from the local file system 2. Notice the inline svg is properly rendered but the inline svg with external file is rendered all black What is the expected behavior? Both SVGs (with embedded sprite or external sprite) should render the same thing What went wrong? The inline svg with an external sprite is not usable because not all SVGs are working properly Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? No Firefox and Safari have similar issues. Some svg are rendering, some others not at all, and some others only a few pieces from the svg are rendered. Chrome version: 58.0.3029.110 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.5 Flash Version:

While fixing issue 109212 probably will make this easier to fix, I don't think it is strictly dupe. I thought we had a dupe for this already, but after inspecting the potential dupes (issue 572685, issue 437837 and issue 229081 as the "obvious" candidates), I didn't see any that matched this. I'll undupe this (and set it as blocked on issue 109212 instead to maintain the useful relation.)
