Corrupted rendering for https://www.chromestatus.com/metrics/feature/popularity |
|||||||||||
Issue description1. Open https://www.chromestatus.com/metrics/feature/popularity 2. Wait until the page is fully loaded 3. Press Ctrl-End to scroll to the bottom Expected: Bar graphs Actual: No bar graphs Click or hover in the blank area there will be some tiles drawn (see attached screen shot). Reproduced on Pixel ChromeBook 59.0.3071.82. Didn't reproduce on Linux with --enable-prefer-compositing-to-lcd-text on ToT or r464641 (the m59 branch point). Need to try on Mac Retina.

Doesn't repro for me in M61 or M59 Mac Retina. We need to track down the root cause. If this is not really a P1 then adjust the Priority and remove the release blocking labels. But any P1 needs a release target.

Lowering priority because this seems a ChromeOS-specific issue. I don't have a ChromeOS debugging environment, so am unlikely to work on this bug.

Also this might not be a paint bug. It might be a cc rasterization bug.

I reproduced this bug on Mac Retina Chrome 61.0.3128.0 and 58.0.3029.110. Steps: 1. Open https://www.chromestatus.com/metrics/feature/popularity 2. Wait until the page is fully loaded 3. Scroll slowly down 4. If scrolled to the end and the bug didn't reproduce, scroll to the top, reload and repeat 2-4.

It's easier to reproduce using the following steps: 3. Press Command+Down Arrow to scroll to the end 1, 2, 4 are the same as #5. Also reproduced with official build on Linux with --enable-prefer-compositing-to-lcd-text. bisect-builds.py on mac failed because it couldn't reproduce on any revision. Perhaps related to official build? Will try more.

Turned out to be related to an extension: "Awesome Screenshot".

wangxianzhu@, I propose WontFix because it's due to an extension. Agree?
