cannot download windows documents

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. clicking on the download arrow
2. save dialogue box is opened; and I save it
3. I get a dialogue box about it being unable to open

What is the expected behavior?
The document to open in word

What went wrong?
It does not open

Did this work before? Yes before the very latest release from Windows 10; which I had to roll-back

The dialog box indicates Microsoft Word was launched but was unable to open the document.  Can you provide a URL for an example document that demonstrates the problem and please attach the document you get when you download it?

Could you please respond to comment #1?  Also, are you able to open the downloaded file in Word if you navigate Windows explorer there and open it manually?
