Chrome .desktop files are incomplete, do not contain a Categories key

Steps to reproduce the problem:
See  Issue 616715  which was closed by the bot and I cannot reopen.

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Currently there is no "Categories" key in the desktop files, so the shortcuts end up in the "Other" category in the start menu.

The issue seems to be out of TE-scope. Hence adding label TE-NeedsTriageHelp for further investigation.
