LBS has a practical limit of 10.000 entries. 100s of entries should not produce observable slowdown though. Especially since nothing has changed in recent versions regarding the decision logic. Maybe the alternative browser is slower to start or due to many extensions Chrome takes long to execute LBS's logic. Where do you observe the slowness (before anything happens or on the screen that states a transition is occurring but before the alternative browser is started? Btw the new beta version of LBS supports MS Enterprise mode site lists in case you are already using those for compat mode you can save now the duplication and maintain only those.
