Cannot connect to printer from Chromebook

Reported by theroots...@gmail.com, Jun 1 2017

Issue description

Chrome Verion:
 Version 58.0.3029.140 (64-bit)
Platform 9334.72.0 (Official Build) stable-channel setzer
ARC Version 4015103
Firmware Google_Setzer.7287.298.0

URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari:
    Firefox:
         IE:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Go into Google Docs
(2)Open ANY file
(3)select PRINT
What is the expected result?
I EXPECT the document to print to one of the 4 printers in this office

What happens instead?
NOTHING prints! I have to email the docs to a coworker and have them print (from their REAL laptop) to one of the wireless printers.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

I've tried to add each of our printers to this Chromebook...but it doesn't recognize ANY of them. I can't simply attach a cable to the printer...because there isn't room for one on my desk.

Labels: -OS-Windows OS-Chrome
The issue seems to be related to OS-chrome. Hence, adding the appropriate OS.

Are you able to provide the makes and models of your printers as well as how you were attempting to setup said printers? Do your printers have known good configurations?
Brother MFC L2707DW and Brother MFC L2705DW. The printers were set up to
use secure WIFI. Other computers, in our office, are able to connect.
However, on a GOOD DAY, I can get one or two documents to print...then it
says it isn't available. I can't use the scan function, nor can I use the
FAX feature like the other users.

We launched discovery of printers in M61. If your printers are networked, you should be able to see them if you go to Settings > Printing > ADD PRINTER. It should be in 'Nearby Printers'.
<triage> therootscc15@ - Are you still experiencing issues with printing on the latest version of Chrome OS?
