Error: EventSource's response has a MIME type ("text/event") that is not "text/event-stream".

Reported by mpyw...@gmail.com, Jun 1 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Prepare a simple PHP script yielding the header "Content-Type: text/event-stream"
2. Try to receive responses using EventSource object with credential

What is the expected behavior?
The server actually provides "Content-Type: text/event-stream". It should work.

What went wrong?
Chrome/Chromium handles "text/event-stream" as "text/event".

Did this work before? Yes unknown

Chrome version: 58.0.3029.110 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.12.4

Could you provide a reproducible test case?

The corresponding web-platform-test ([1]) pass on my environment. Does it pass on your environment?

That passed...
By the way, does SSL certificate expiration have anything to do with this?

It will fail the loading, but changing the mime type sounds weird.

Could you provide a net-log? https://dev.chromium.org/for-testers/providing-network-details

I'm very sorry that it was the stupid chrome extension bug :(

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/set-character-encoding/bpojelgakakmcfmjfilgdlmhefphglae/support

The regex /^text\/\w+/ stupidly trims "text/event-stream" into "text/evnet"...
