Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-7 and Win-10 using chrome reported version #58.0.3029.110 , latest stable #59.0.3071.86 and latest canary #61.0.3122.0. Attached a screen cast for reference. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Navigated to URL: https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9A%D0%B0%D0%BC%D0%B5%D1%80-%D0%9A%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%B6%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D0%B2%D0%B0%D0%BB#/media/File:1850_moscow.jpg 2. Sorry for delay, lost your reply in spam. I can reproduce this with fresh user (only default google extensions added) and the latest Version 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit). It seems to be reproduced with some additional stress. You have to open few more windows and tabs. After resizing windows and switching to and fro you could see this behavior. Some times before it totally broke pages become jerky and chrome say that it encounters problem with drawing engine. Please see attached video.

Looks like a GPU-related issue. Please attach the contents of chrome://gpu page here. Also try disabling GPU rasterization chrome://flags/#enable-gpu-rasterization If it won't help, try disabling hardware acceleration in browser settings. Note, both the above methods require restarting the browser.
