Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. If necessary, switch to a keyboard layout in which some symbols are entered using AltGr (I use Portuguese which requires using AltGr to enter characters such as @£§€)
2. Open an ssh as a new tab (not new window). Pressing AltGr+character works as expected
3. Open ssh as a new window (right click app icon, select open in window and then click on app). Then, try to write the AltGr characters
What is the expected behavior?
Characters in new window should appear just as they do when terminal is open in a tab.
What went wrong?
No characters are shown.

This is very irritating because in many non-US layouts, AltGr is used for many symbols such as {} and so on. This makes "open in window" unusable for development.
