DevTools: Showing Parse and Compile timeline activities |
||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: Chrome Canary 60.0.3110.0 OS: OS X What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Record a timeline on a site (e.g. nasa.gov) What is the expected result? From the "Bottom-Up" view, I should see Parse and Compile activities. What happens instead? I don't see a "Parse" activity and I only see a "Compile Script" activity. @paulirish said it may be due to the mapping between native events and their display name in devtools: https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/third_party/WebKit/Source/devtools/front_end/timeline_model/TimelineJSProfile.js?type=cs&l=216 Please see @paulirish for more details :)
