Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://hoffmannursery.com/assets/files/files/Hoffman_Nursery_Availability.pdf Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to certain websites to open PDF files 2. Click link to open PDF in new tab What is the expected behavior? The PDF should open in-browser What went wrong? A white pop-up appears showing the text, "Error Failed to load PDF document." Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? Yes Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 61.0.3115.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: I've been having inconsistent problems trying to load PDFs since March 2017. The only computers that are having issues are desktop PCs at my place of employment. Some PDFs load fine, others don't. Sometimes the PDFs that usually give me trouble will work for the first 30 minutes to an hour after logging on to the PC, then they stop loading. Here are two PDFs hosted online that regularly refuse to load: http://hoffmannursery.com/assets/files/files/Hoffman_Nursery_Availability.pdf http://www.northcreeknurseries.com/_ccLib/downloads/2016_2017_North_Creek_Price_List.pdf PDFs in Gmail attachments also fail to display in browser, though I can't recall if they're accompanied by an error message. I've not been able to replicate this issue on any of my personal computers at home. Therefore, I think it's some kind of conflict with the software installed on the machines here. I've tried different settings for hardware acceleration, plugins, anti-virus, etc. Other browsers are fine.

Isn't this bug 714184 being refiled? Sorry, I haven't gotten around to looking at your network logs on that bug.

It may be? I apologize if so, I had commented somewhere and one of the chromium people suggested I file a new report. I'll post updates to 714184.

Tested this issue on on Mac-10.12.4, Windows-7,Windows-10 and Linux Ubuntu-14.04 using chrome canary 61.0.3115.0 by following steps : URL : http://hoffmannursery.com/assets/files/files/Hoffman_Nursery_Availability.pdf 1.Clicked above URL to open PDF in new tab and able to open the PDF 2.Tried 5-6 times but unable to repro the Issue i.e. A white pop-up with the text, "Error Failed to load PDF document." is not seen josephluhn@ :Please find the attachment and let us know if anything missed here to reproduce the issue.
