Regression: Weird traces observed on search field.

Chrome Version: 61.0.3115.0 958dbb23d9fb6ef967f76d9cda0153a6cb05f8cd-refs/heads/master@{#475394}
OS: Windows(7,8,10), Linux(14.04 LTS) and Mac(10.11.6, 10.12.3)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch Chrome, navigate to above URL and click on Add to Chrome button
(2) Launch App and click on Search field,observe

Actual: Weird traces observed on search field.

Expected: No such traces should be observed.

This is a regression issue broken in M-60 will update other info.

Good Build: 60.0.3081.0

It is not related to r467344 as that CL doesn't touch anything related to rendering. 

benjaminwagner@, can you take a look if it is related to the skia roll in the range?
