Chromevox does not read math notation

Chromevox Version: 53.0.2784.5
OS Version: OS X 10.12.5

Other browsers tested: n/a as issue is related to Chromevox

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Activate/screen read page with math notations
2. Chromevox will encounter math notation (KaTeX)

What is the expected result?
Enunciation of `n` or `T of n` for T(n).


What happens instead of that?
Math expressions are skipped/ignored as if not present.

Tested the issue on mac os 10.12.5 using chrome M59 #59.0.3071.86 and issue is reproduced.

Confirming the issue , for further inputs on this and get addressed by respective team.

macOS Sierra version 10.12.6 with VoiceOver 7.0 (477.40.6) 

I am able to reproduce this using VoiceOver using these steps:

# Launch VoiceOver and Webpage listed
# Start continuous reading 

Expected: math values are spoken
Actual: math values are skipped over

# Turn off VoiceOver
# Select the math notation
# Select to Speak

Math values are spoken using select to speak.

I also wanted to note that this does not reproduce on Windows with JAWS.

Math is only expected to work on Chrome OS. Please test there and provide a site or snippet on which it doesn't work.
