history fails to load

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.81 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. I went to chrome://history

What is the expected behavior?
should show the history

What went wrong?
Says "loading" forever (have waited several minutes already).

It was working fine a few hours ago.

I don't know if this is related, but a few minutes or hours ago Chrome froze completely as per  bug 695974  (as it often happens) and I restarted it. This is the first session after that restart.

Did this work before? Yes 

Chrome version: 58.0.3029.81  Channel: n/a
OS Version: 
Flash Version:

Well, after waiting some more minutes without doing nothing (left the tab open) the history finally loaded, so it seems that the issue is that it was taking an insane amount of time to load

Tested in chrome # 58.0.3029.81,Stable #58.0.3029.110 and Canary #61.0.3115.0 on Ubuntu 14.04 and not able to reproduce the issue.Please find the screen cast(stable)for your reference.

@Reporter:Could you please let me know if i have missed anything and if possible,Please create new profile without extensions and apps.Re-check once and let us know the observations of the issue which would help us to triage the issue further.
