What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Downloaded Chromium browser and dependencies using synaptic program manager in Linux Peppermint 7, appears to install fine
(2)In terminal, checked for upgrades, there were none, confirmed that I had latest version.
(3)Clicked on Chromium in the internet portion of my menu, looked like something was trying to spool for a moment, but then nothing happened.
What is the expected result?
That the browser would open. I know internet (ethernet) connection is okay because I'm able to get an upgrade system files.
What happens instead?
Browser does not open.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
My laptop is an old system -- IBM Thinkpad X30. Dinosaurus. Firefox browser that came with the system crashes when I try to open it, but sends error message okay. It may be a situation where newest version of chromium is 64-bit and I need 32-bit. Please help me! Thank you in advance. Kind regards, Sara Ann
