Issue descriptionApp Version: 60.0.3109.0 canary iOS Version: 9.3.5,iOS 10 Device : iPhone,iPad Precondition. 1- Enable Signin Promo from device experimental settings. Device settings > Chrome Canary > Experimental settings > UI Settings > Enable Sign in Promo > Enabled. Steps to reproduce: 1- Launch chrome. 2- Tap on Bookmarks. 3- Change the device orientation to landscape mode. Observed results: White screen is displayed briefly upon changing the device orientation. Expected results: White screen should not be displayed. iPhone Plus doesn't repro because the entire screen is reloaded when presented in landscape. iPad reproes the white-flash when rotating in Bookmarks, but not in Settings for example. I guess Bookmarks code reloads the entire UI when rotating, causing the flash? Weird.

It is not an issue in the new bookmark UI. Verified on chrome beta version 63.0.3239.54 on iPhone 8 with iOS 11.1.2. No white screen is displayed on rotating the device on new bookmarks UI. Looks good. |
