Import git project to chrome-internal from gfiber-internal |
|||||
Issue descriptionDescribe infrastructure request/issue: We have a project currently hosted on gfiber-internal.googlesource.com. We want to import this project into chrome-internal and continue our development on CrOS. We want to reuse an empty git repo that we have created a few years ago. Source project: git://gfiber-internal.googlesource.com/vendor/google/spacecast Target project: https://chrome-internal.googlesource.com/spacecast

Please import the spacecast branch as master if possible. We have abandoned the master branch and spacecast is our current master.

If I grant you temporary force push rights and let you take care of putting it on whatever branch you want, is that good enough?

Do you even need force-push, or is just push sufficient? (ie are you rewriting history of master, or just fast forwarding?)

The spacecast branch should be a super set of the master branch, so just fast forwarding is good enough.

I've done the import: https://chrome-internal.googlesource.com/spacecast I've also made mdb/spacecast-eng-ninja the Owner of refs/*, so that members of that group should be able to set up the rest of the labels and ACLs at https://chrome-internal-review.googlesource.com/?polygerrit=0#/admin/projects/spacecast,access have at it!
