Chrome windows cannot be shared in hangout screenshare in windows 7

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open hangouts 2. screenshare a chrome window What is the expected behavior? Shared chrome window should be appeared to the other party What went wrong? Shared chrome window is not appearing to the other party Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 58.0.3029.110 Channel: stable OS Version: 7 Flash Version: This is recreating only in windows 7. Windows 10 is fine. Refer the attached screen cast for steps. In the video, I have shared the whole screen first, to show that it is working. But sharing the chrome windows doesn't work.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-7 using chrome reported version #58.0.3029.110 and latest canary #61.0.3114.0 . Attached a screen cast for reference. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Opened hangouts.google.com 2. Screenshared a chrome window. 3. Observed that shared chrome window appeared to the other party as expected. miniruwan@ - Could you please check this issue on latest canary #61.0.3114.0 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not. This is reproducing in latest canary #61.0.3114.0. Operating System - Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1 Following are the steps I did. (Refer the attached video) ----------- 1. Open google hangouts 2. Share a non chrome window (eg: system information window) 3. Shared non chrome window is appeared in google hangouts 4. Share a chrome window 5. Shared chrome window is not appearing in google hangouts expected outcome in step 5 : Shared chrome window should appear in google hangouts

This is also happening in Linux (Debian) with Chrome 59.0.3071.86

Tested this issue using latest Stable #59.0.3071.86 on Linux Ubuntu 14.04 and able to share the screen from one account to another in my machine. @Rohan: Could you please find the attached screen cast and let us know your observations.
