Issue descriptionOnce checker-imaged, multiple tiles could potentially become suitable for solid color mode. We should avoid using resources for these tiles to keep the memory usage during checker-imaging to a minimum.

The implementation for this should be a 1 patch thing so trying it out and seeing if it helps any memory numbers might still be worth it. But I'll downgrade to a P3. |
