Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Click manage people and remove the person. This will clear all browser history and allow them to setup a new "user" with not browsing history. What is the expected behavior? I do not want to have this ability. As I was able to block delete history in the GPO. I have also blocked "Add Person" but it still shows up (is that only available in a specific version?). What went wrong? When I removed the person in question, it deletes the browsing history tied to that person, which defeats the purpose of Blocking Delete Browser History GPO. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 58.0.3029.110 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0

This is working as intended. I set the policy to - "Enable add person in profile manager"- > Enable. Navigate to the client machine and try to add person from chrome://settings, The profile switcher do not a have the provision to Add Person(Only Guest mode is available). Attached screenshot with the policy enabled and disabled. Please give a try again, if the issue still persist provide us with chrome://policy file for further investigation. OS version: 58.0.3029.110

I verified I have the GPO set for BrowserAddPersonEnabled to False (see attached). Since we are at it, is there a way to disable Guest Mode? I am doing everything in Group Policy, is that a problem?

Never mind, I see that I also have BrowserGuestModeEnabled set to False as well. I would expect it not to be an option?

To provide more detailed information: I have both the rules disabled in GPO, as you can see above. I also am attaching a screenshot that shows I can delete People (which then removes all history). You can also see in the screenshot that I can "Add Person"

Thanks for the updates. Previously existing user can be deleted but even if the policy "Enable add person in profile manager"- is > Enabled ( which is expected) We do not have a policy for "Disabling Delete user", please log a feature request if you need the same.

I think we cal close this one as working as intended provided that we will discuss the disabling of deleting profiles in the new bug. Any objections?
