Issue descriptionCIPD packages should have an optional "description" field that allows users to attach descriptions alongside their packages. This could be specified as text in construction command-lines, or as YAML fields when building from YAML. This is useful for identifying the purpose of a package and offering package installers information about where the package came from, what it does, where its source code lies, and how it should be used.

Yes, but I planned to put into the prefix metadata in the datastore, not in the package itself. |
