ChromeVox Next: Focus outline does not outline focused element in AngularJS material menu |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 58.0.3029.110 (Official Build) (64-bit) OS: ChromeOS Note: This is for ChromeVox Next What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Go to https://material.angularjs.org/latest/demo/menu (2) TAB to the Simple Dropdown Menu example (button) (3) Press ENTER to open the menu What is the expected result? Visual focus outline should follow programmatical focus around the first menu item. What happens instead? Focus outline focuses on some unknown bounding rect and does not encircle the focused menu item. Note that if you open the developer console, the focus outline seems to readjust properly. Odd.

I suspect this is similar to bug 701545 , where the bounding box is correct at the time the element gets focus, but we don't update it after a css animation moves it.

This was fixed as part of bug 610840 . The underlying issue was bounding boxes not updating after CSS animation. |
