Uploaded sample HTML to http://output.jsbin.com/poyalo

This is an HTML spec/interop question. Not sure what part of the spec text covers it, but as for browser interop: Chrome, Firefox and Edge all hide the image when the window width gets small enough, while Safari shows it but on top of the text in a buggy-looking way. Safari is the odd one out and I'm inclined to believe it's the one in the wrong here.

So I'm closing this as working as intended. Please provide some evidence that Chromium's behavior is in principle incorrect if you want us to take action.
