Issue descriptionMobile Simulator: Chrome Version : 53.0.2785.135 Android Version : 7.1.1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Add manifest.json to root folder 2. Add service-worker to root folder 3. Register service worker inside index.html 4. Launch app from mobile device, then close it and launch again Expected result: "Add to home screen banner should be shown" What happens instead of that? I see no banner. I use "Add to home screen" button from dev tools and it works correctly. Also I attached a report file from Lighthouse

The banner will only show up if you interact with the site for some amount of time. We don't just show the banner; the user needs to show some amount of interest on your page (scrolling around, tapping around, etc.) before the banner is displayed.

Reporter: I'm going to close this as WontFix for now. Please reopen if you're unable to get the banner to show after interacting with the site for a little while (and it hasn't previously been shown) |
