Dev Tools Network panel is empty

Reported by brian.ch...@gmail.com, May 17 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Open Dev Tools on any tab and select Network

What is the expected behavior?
Network panel should have stuff in it

What went wrong?
Network panel is empty. If I open dev tools on dev tools, I see the following error:

Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: Failed to execute 'insertBefore' on 'Node': The node before which the new node is to be inserted is not a child of this node.

Thanks for the report. Do you happen to have repro steps?

allada@, the error trace makes it seem like this line might be called in a bad state. Could you please take a look?
https://cs.chromium.org/chromium/src/third_party/WebKit/Source/devtools/front_end/network/NetworkPanel.js?q=networkpanel&sq=package:chromium&dr=C&l=313
Labels: Needs-Triage-M60
repro steps above: "Open Dev Tools on any tab and select Network"

Sounds like you found the problem and sorted it out. Thanks for getting on this so quickly. I'm not sure how long the patch will take to find its way into Canary, but when it does, I'll check it out and confirm the fix.
Status: Fixed (was: Unconfirmed)
Changing status to "Fixed" in Comment 4.

If either Comment #2 or Comment #4 can confirm it's fixed, we can flip to verified :)
I can confirm that the fix is working for me. Thanks again.
