Non Regression: Ghost text is overlapping with text entered using virtual keyboard

Chrome Version: 60.0.3101.0
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 , Win: 7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Launch Chrome and navigate to chrome web store>>Add Virtual keyboard extension
(2)Navigate to gmail signin page >> Enter email id using virtual keyboard and click somewhere on the empty space of signin page, so that the virtual keyboard disappears then observe


Expected: Ghost text should not overlap with text entered using virtual keyboard

Actual: Ghost text is overlapping with text entered using virtual keyboard


This is a Non-Regression issue seen from M-32

Able to reproduce the issue on Mac 10.12.4 using chrome version 60.0.3101.0
