Chrome history scroll useless/unpredictable when history search term is changed |
||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 58.0.3029.110 OS: Linux What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Go to History (2) Type a word with lots of search results "the" (3) Move the cursor scroll to 50% (4) Delete search term, enter another word with many results, like "main". What is the expected result? I see the search results for "main", starting at the top (most recent), or at least seeing results for "main" anchored at the same date/scroll position as my previous query. What happens instead? I am seeing search results for "main" a completely random point in time.

We can easily reset the scroll to the top of the results when the query changes.

That CL should fix the issue, but feel free to reopen if there are other problems with scrolling in History. |
