I'm happy to help however chrome://crashes also reports Aw, Snap!

I can see that on the filesystem the Chrome.exe properties shows 58.0.3029.110 as the version.

Lumension Endpoint Security can be the trigger for this problem. In event viewer it shows as a chrome.exe error in sxwmon64.dll. If it is that it can be fixed with a registry setting described here: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=174607
Thank you for your help. I needed Chrome to perform my duties so I turned in my machine to the helpdesk for reimaging. Please close the bug.
