Antivirus blocks Chromium from opening

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Downloaded mini installer of latest Chromium version from official website 
2. Ran program
3. It gets blocked

What is the expected behavior?
Chromium browser is supposed to open because it is officlal

What went wrong?
malware detected

Did this work before? No 

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87  Channel: n/a
OS Version: OS X 10.11.6
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0

Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
We do not provide any official distributions of Chromium. Google distributes Chrome, and some Linux distributions provide their own official builds of Chromium, but there are no official Chromium downloads. Depending on where you downloaded Chromium, it might in fact be malware.
