Generic PCL 3 PPD does not pass cupstestppd

Project Member Reported by skau@chromium.org, May 11 2017

Issue description

Generic PCL3 is unusable because the PPD contains a bad duplex value.

ABA20B32836FB53DAF571623DE746B4A9AEC4DEFEC8CA073ADC0D766571A734F: FAIL
      **FAIL** Bad Duplex choice Default.
                REF: Page 122, section 5.17
WARN Size "11x17" should be the Adobe standard name "Tabloid".
WARN Size "A5" should be "149x210mm".

Whence does this ppd come? Is it in the scs repo, or manually supplied?

It's in SCS. I ran cupstestppd on the file downloaded to the PPDCache.

Should we fix the tool or change the PPD? If we change the PPD, do we need to push that change upstream anywhere?
Sorry, this fell off my list of things to do. I should be able to take a look at it this afternoon.

I think the right goal is to have a presubmit test on the repo side that validates ppds the same way cupstestppd does (and fixup any ppds in the repo that currently fail that test). But I'm not entirely sure I like the idea of running cupstestppd directly in that test framework; we'll have to see what makes sense.

This isn't a dup of something else, right?

No, I'm just working on a fix that includes testing to prevent regressions. It should be done soon.

This was fixed in the serving repository.
