All my android apps are gone (including play store)

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.  I updated to the newest version
2. ALL MY APPS ARE GONE
3.  The android setting in the settings is gone too
4. Play store is missing too

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
Hp Chromebook G5

I have this issue after signing in as a trusted user under my fiancee's account. It seems play store and android apps can only be active for one user, and since trusted accounts are logged in simultaneously, one precludes the other.
