Screen is corrupted and doesn't redraw

Reported by esa...@gmail.com, May 10 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/58.0.3029.96 Chrome/58.0.3029.96 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Chromium browser in either normal or incognito mode.
Go to a website eg. www.youtube.com
2. Move the mouse to the top of the address bar, or type into a field in the web page.
3. The top half of the address bar turns grey hiding the top half of the URL address in the bar.

What is the expected behavior?
The top half of the screen (where the address bar is) should not be corrupted. It should redraw normally.

What went wrong?
The top half of the screen (where the address bar is) becomes corrupted and does not redraw properly. Instead it turns grey and hides the URL address text.

Did this work before? Yes Previous version as supplied by Linux Mint 18.1 Serena Software Manager

Chrome version: 58.0.3029.96 Channel: stable
OS Version: Mint 18.1 Cinnamon 32-bit 3.2.7
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0
