DevTools LocalStorage and Cookies Tab problem

Reported by ozg...@gmail.com, May 10 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version : 57.0.2987.133
OS Version: OS X 10.12.4
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari: OK
     Opera : OK
  Firefox: OK
     IE 7/8/9: --

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Dev Tools. Goto Application->Cookies section.
2. Switch to any other browser tab and come back to the first opened tab
3. Tab content corrupted. (as you can see in the attached file)

Second problem is I can not see main domain on the devTools->Local Storage tab if I refresh the page

1. Open Dev Tools. Goto Application->Local Storage section.
2. I can see all of the domains. Then Refresh the page
3. So only Main domain disappear. I can see other domains on the LS tab (But there is LS data on the main domain). If I close and reopen devtools I can see the main domain again. If I refresh the page It dissapears again.

What is the expected result?

What happens instead of that?

Thanks for the report! 57.0.2987.133 is an older version of Chrome. Would you mind updating and trying again?
chrome 58.0.3029.81
I have this problem too and it has been months.

I have the same problem on Windows 10, Chrome 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit). So it's not only Mac affected.
The Local Storage and Session Storage from Dev Tools - Application tab, are disappearing after refreshing the page. If I close and reopen dev tools, they re-appear.

I'm not able to reproduce this, eostroukhov@, do you think this is a Blink issue or a Devtools style bug?

BTW I updated Opera browser to the latest version today. Now Both Chrome & Opera has the same problem. It seems like firefox works well without any problem.

I have the same problem on 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)/Win7.

Using DevTools daily, I believe I noticed a change in behavior (from working to buggy) in early April.
I can confirm this behavior on Chrome Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)

Steps to reproduce:

Open webpage
Open dev tools
Switch to Application Tab
See all session and local storage URLs and data
Refresh webpage
Local and Session storage now show as empty

I have also tested on Version 61.0.3116.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) and the problem does NOT appear.

The same bug as here:
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=707506

I even created a new profile, the bug is still there. I can make a video, but it is useless if they can't reproduce it. Good to know that on Canary the issue is not there, thanks Darren.
Seems the bug was fixed one month ago, but will be out from version 59.0.3069.0 onward.
