links in chrome bookmarks bar flickers when clicks on that

Issue description
Chrome Version : Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Tried to install the FileZilla (it is might not be related)
(2) Click on the link from the bookmark bar in chrome
(3) You will see it is flickering 1-2 seconds, then chrome opens that link
What is the expected result?
When you click the link in the bookmarks bar, it shall directly go to the link page
What happens instead?
It flickers around 1 seconds, then it opens the link page

Unable to reproduce the issue on windows 7, Mac 10.12.4 using chrome version 58.0.3029.110.Not observed any flickering while clicking on link on bookmark bar. Please find the attached screen cast for the same. Could you please try the issue on new profile and provide us the screen cast to triage the issue from test team end. Thanks,

Unable to reproduce the issue on Mac OS 10.12.4 using chrome version 58.0.3029.110.Not observed any flickering while clicking on link on bookmark bar. Able to reproduce this issue on Mac 10.12.4 using chrome reported version #58.0.3029.110 and latest canary #60.0.3108.0. Issue is not seen on OS-Win and OS-Linux. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M30 old builds. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!

That "flickering" behavior seems like the default behavior of Mac menus when accepting an option. Do you see a similar thing if you use menus in other apps?
