Omnibox shrinking animation is not smooth, when Extension icon appears on the Toolbar |

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 60.0.3094.0 Canary OS: MacOS 10.12.4 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Install an extension (e.g. Adblock) (2) Hide the Adblock extension toolbar icon in Chrome's Menu (3) Click on the Adblock extension icon in Chrome's Menu, so that the icon appears on the toolbar (and the menu opens) What is the expected result? What happens instead? The shrinking animation of the Omnibox should be smooth when the extension icon appears on the Toolbar. It is smooth when the Omnibox enlarges again and the extension icon disappears in the menu. (It works fine on Windows OS.) Please use labels and text to provide additional information. A screencast is attached. Please let me know, if you need more information.
