Unable to reproduce the issue on windows 7, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.12.4 using chrome version 58.0.3029.110.Not observed any shrink while typing. Please find the attached screen cast for the same. Could you please once try the issue by upgrading chrome to latest stable and update the thread if the issue still persists. Thanks,

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I can confirm that the issue is not reproducible when viewed from the edit mode on CodePen/JSBin. (It works only in the output/debug mode). Please see the attached document for the demo.

I believe this is a duplicated issue of #708159 (it seems very similar), which has been already fixed in M59 and M60. I cannot reproduce it in M60 neither in Mac or Linux. Could you verify if it works in Canary? Thanks!

Yes, it works 100% in Canary 60.0.3095.0.

Can anybody provide some insight why this works as expected within a Codepen or JSbin, but not in a raw example? Does it behave differently in an iframe? More importantly: is there a workaround I can add to fix this behavior in Chrome <59? |
