Revisit OS (blue) columns in memory-infra after Consistent Memory Metrics |
|||
Issue descriptionToday somebody pointed out that the current state of memory-infra blue columns is very hard to reason about. See attachment. - It's not clear what private and shared mean, shared seem to account also the binary size - it's contra-intuitive that why "private dirty" is > "Private" - The memory maps are suspiciously reporting 67.184 KB of "Private dirty" AND "shared dirty" for the binary. Not high prio, realistically let's revisit all this once Consistent Memory Metrics happen.
