chromium is starting very slowly

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. launch chromium

What is the expected behavior?
Just launching

What went wrong?
I have to wait for a while until chromium finally appear and work properly.

Did this work before? Yes 

Chrome version: 58.0.3029.96  Channel: stable
OS Version: ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0

This problem occurs since Google authentification has changed and ubuntu can't update connexion to Google account.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome version 58.0.3029.110.Able to launch chrome without any slowness.

Request you once try the issue on latest stable 58.0.3029.110 and update the thread if the issue still persists.
