direct_renderer.h comments that "Direct" refers to the fact that it does not delegate rendering to another compositor.(see historical DelegatingRenderer
for reference). So DirectRenderer is in contrast with DelegatingRenderer. 

Now that DelegatingRenderer is gone, there is no direct or delegating. Maybe BaseRenderer or Renderer is a more straightforward name.
