Issue descriptionChrome Version:60.0.3093.0 Revision b528d28ed46e08084f9b1a6a0e81fad09419176d-refs/heads/master@{#469894} OS:Windows (7,8,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.11.6,10.12.1) 1. Launch chrome and navigate to https://www.google.co.in/maps?hl=en 2. Click on 'Menu' icon('Google Maps' overlay appear) then press Ctrl-- to zoom out the page 3. Observe 'Google Maps' overlay Actual- Flicking of 'Google Maps' overlay is observed on zooming out the page. Expected- Flicking of 'Google Maps' overlay should not be observed. This is a Non-Regression issue is seen from M40 Note: Issue is not seen on IE and Fire Fox browser

Zooming out changes the size of the viewport and the google maps application responds to that by repositioning elements and fetching new tiles. The way they do that results in the behavior you're observing. |
