Flexbox is the one case that's working correctly, so let me change the component here. Also +mstensho and +shoon.kim from the indicated CL.

Also +rego because inline-grid is also not behaving correctly

https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/527640/ This CL fixed inline-block case, but inline-grid is still behaving incorrectly.

Shoon, does your attached patch help with this testcase by any chance: https://bug1362999.bmoattachments.org/attachment.cgi?id=8877784 (In particular: in Chrome right now, the initial rendering has the border snapped to the purple canvas, but if you hover the purple area, they get out of sync.) (I'm guessing it might help because I reduced that testcase from the same original demo, as part of this Mozilla bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1362999 But if it doesn't help, I'll file a new bug for my testcase.)

Yes. The patch at comment #6 can solve the issue at #8.

inline-grid problem can be covered by https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=719441. It can be closed, I think.
